1. Purpose
These Terms govern your use of PixelMuse (the "App"), a mobile application provided by the PixelMuse team (the "Operator"). By installing and using the App, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
The App generates result images by applying AI effects (AI Art, Face Aging, Gender Swap, AI Enhance, Background Changer, and similar) to photos you select. The App is free to install and use, displays ads, and generation features consume credits (coins).
3. Credits (Coins) and Payments
- Nature of credits — Credits are consumable items used to access image generation within the App. They cannot be exchanged for cash or other property and cannot be transferred to other users.
- How to obtain — Free credits granted at first use, credits earned by watching rewarded ads, and coin packs purchased through Google Play in-app billing.
- Deduction and refund — A set number of credits is deducted per generation request. If generation fails due to a server error or similar, those credits are refunded automatically. If generation completes normally, credits are not refunded solely because the result differs from your expectations.
- Purchase refunds — Payments and refunds for coin packs are governed by Google Play policy. For billing inquiries, please contact Google Play support or the address below.
- Per-installation balance — Your credit balance is tied to an anonymous per-installation identifier. If you uninstall the App or change devices, your balance may not be recoverable.
4. Your Responsibility for Uploaded Photos (Important)
- Upload only photos of yourself, or photos for which you have obtained consent from the people appearing in them.
- Do not use results to impersonate, defame, or harass others, or to spread false information.
- Do not alter photos of minors in inappropriate ways, or use the App for sexual, violent, or discriminatory purposes.
- If a dispute with a third party arises from a photo you uploaded or from your use of a result, that responsibility is yours and the Operator is not a party to it.
5. Nature of AI-Generated Results
- Result images are fictional images generated by AI. They do not realistically predict or guarantee any real person's appearance, future appearance, or physical characteristics. Face aging and gender swap results are expressive works intended for entertainment.
- Due to the nature of AI, the quality and accuracy of results may vary with the input photo and request, and the Operator does not guarantee any particular quality.
- You may use generated results for personal or commercial purposes, but you are responsible for ensuring that such use does not infringe third-party rights such as publicity rights or copyright.
- When sharing or posting results, please take care not to mislead others as to whether the image was generated by AI.
6. Intellectual Property
Rights in the App and its components (design, text, graphics, effect presets, and similar) belong to the Operator. Image generation uses AI image generation services from OpenAI and Google, and those services' terms may also apply.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Reverse engineering or copying the App, or generating bulk requests by automated means
- Circumventing or manipulating credit acquisition, including fraudulent rewarded-ad claims
- Interfering with the normal operation of the service
- Using the App or its results for any purpose that violates applicable law
If such conduct is identified, the Operator may restrict the relevant use without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or quality of generated results, and to the extent permitted by law is not liable for damages arising from use of the App or its results. Some features may change or be discontinued without notice due to circumstances affecting third-party AI service providers.
9. Changes to These Terms
If these Terms change, we will post the update on this page.
