This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how it is handled when you use PixelMuse (package name: com.pixelmuse.app, the "App"). The App can be used without creating an account, and the developer does not collect or store personally identifying information such as your name or email address.
1. Handling of Photos (Images)
- When collected — A photo is transmitted only when you choose an effect, pick a photo yourself from your device gallery or camera, and tap generate. The App does not read your gallery on its own or collect photos in the background.
- Purpose — Generating a result image for the effect you selected (AI Art, Face Aging, Gender Swap, AI Enhance, Background Changer, and similar). Photos are not used for any other purpose.
- Transmission and processing — Photos are sent over an encrypted connection (TLS) to the developer's server and used for AI image generation.
- Retention and deletion — Once the result image has been generated, the uploaded source photo and the generated result are deleted from the server immediately (ephemeral processing). There is no photo archive or per-user gallery stored on the server.
- No model training — Uploaded photos are not used to train or retrain AI models.
- Saving results — Saving or sharing a generated result is entirely your choice, and saved results are stored only on your own device.
2. AI Image Generation Processors
To generate your result, the App routes requests through the developer's server to the AI image generation services listed below. Photos are passed to these services only as needed for generation, and no personally identifying information such as your name or email is sent with them.
- OpenAI (image generation API)
- Google (Gemini image generation API)

3. Device Identifier and Credit Management
- What is collected — An anonymous identifier generated per app installation.
- Purpose — Managing your credit (coin) balance, deducting and refunding credits for generation requests, and enforcing rewarded-ad claim limits. It exists solely so your balance can persist without requiring an account.
- Nature — It is an anonymous value that is not linked to your real identity such as name, email, or phone number, and the link is broken when you uninstall the App.
4. Advertising and Third-Party Services
The App serves ads through Google AdMob. To deliver ads, the following information may be collected automatically by the advertising provider:
- Advertising ID
- Device information (model, OS version, screen size, and similar)
- Approximate location (based on IP address)
- App usage and ad interaction data
For details, see the Google Privacy Policy and the AdMob data protection guide. You can reset your Advertising ID or limit personalized ads in your device settings. In regions where consent is required, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), the App requests consent for ad personalization through Google UMP on first launch.
You may watch rewarded ads to earn coins; this is entirely optional. Declining to watch ads does not restrict your use of the App's features.
5. Payment Information
Coin pack purchases are processed through Google Play billing. The developer does not collect or store payment method details such as card numbers, and receives only the transaction information needed to verify a purchase. Payment processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Feedback and Inquiries
If you use the in-app "Feedback / Report a bug" feature, the text you write, any images you optionally attach (up to 3), the app version, and the anonymous device identifier are sent to the developer. This is used only to respond to your inquiry and to fix defects, and is deleted once it is no longer needed. Submitting feedback is entirely optional.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Uploaded photos and generated results are deleted from the server immediately after processing. The anonymous identifier and balance information used for credit management are retained for as long as needed to provide the service. In-app settings are stored only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the App.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your Rights
You may uninstall the App at any time to remove information stored on your device. If you would like your credit balance record deleted, please contact us at the address below. Photos are already deleted immediately and therefore are not subject to a separate deletion request.
